Humberto Flores
Humberto Flores is a vanguard scholar and photographer from Riverside County, California, representing an intersectional narrative shaped by adversity and intellectual vigor. His experiences with law enforcement fuel his passion for knowledge and creativity, focusing on structural inequalities. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Sociology at UC Santa Barbara, he holds an MA from UC Riverside and a BA from UCLA. Humberto uses photography to explore societal structures, aiming to illuminate the complexities of justice in Inland Southern California and beyond. His work has been featured in museums, including the Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture.
